Notice: Extension of Summer Vacation for 2 days Due to Heatwave Alert

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

    We hope this notice finds you in good health and high spirits. As the summer season approaches, we would like to inform you about an important decision regarding the summer vacation schedule at BIRLA OPEN MINDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ROSERA.

    The meteorological department has recently issued a heatwave alert in isolated pockets till the 12th & 13th of June. In consideration of the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff, we have decided to extend the summer vacation by two days till Tuesday, 13th June 2023, and school will re-open on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

     This will help us to avoid the potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure to high temperatures & we encourage students to stay hydrated, remain indoors during peak heat hours, and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heatwave. Heat-related illnesses can be prevented by basic guidelines such as wearing lightweight and loose-fitting clothing, applying sunscreen, and seeking shade whenever possible.
